Hyatt House Scottsdale/Old Town

I stayed at this hotel for three weeks, and it was truly a magnificent experience. The location is perfect — quiet, peaceful, and ideal for getting real rest. Everything was spotless and very well maintained throughout my stay. The staff treated me wonderfully, and I always felt welcomed. I especially want to mention Devon, who was consistently friendly, attentive, and supportive of all my needs. Because of this great experience, this will be my hotel every time I come to Phoenix. Highly recommended.

This place is all you need for a good stay a few minutes from Scottsdale old town. They have a comprehensive hot and cold breakfast selection, which is available for a decent amount of time in the morning. They have a smaller pool but it’s all you need if you want to take a dip. They also have the lawn chairs and a few umbrellas in case you like going to a sunny place and staying in the shade like me. There’s no elevators, but it’s only two floors so walking up a flight is not a big deal. We were happy enough with it that we’re rebooking for this year. We had the two bedroom grand king room and it was awesome space. Great having our own full kitchen, dining room, and two good sized king bedrooms with bathrooms attached. It’s not winning any design awards, but they have warm and friendly staff, maintain the property well, have free Wi-Fi and free parking (hard to find in the area) and it’s less than a 10 min walk to all the highlights of old town. Can’t beat that at that price! Thanks and see you soon.

I had a good experience but what really made my experience excellent was the manager Ronald Byland. He went above and beyond to make certain we were comfortable and well taken care of. Hyatt is lucky to have somebody like him completely taking care of things like he does. The rooms were clean and the rooms were private and well-spaced from other guests. The breakfast was good and the homemade cookies in the lobby are a nice touch.

Thee best customer service I've had in a long time! Willie the front desk concierge was such a delight, super helpful and all around a wonderful spirit! The hotel was basically like a one-bedroom apartment, the breakfast they provided was delicious, and the pool area was nice. We've met wonderful guests staying at the hotel which was the cherry on top of a perfect weekend! I loved everything about my stay!

The Hyatt house is in a great location. Walkable to the Old Town shops. The Social is just up the street if you're looking to walk for drinks or dinner. The staff are wonderful. There's a small bar at the hotel and the bartender, Nancy was pleasant to talk to and made a great drink! Breakfast was impressive. The staff kept it well stocked. But beware there are not any elevators so be prepared if you're not on the first floor. Very safe area.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Hyatt House Scottsdale/ Old Town and I always recommend it! For the price point it gets the job done and I enjoy the complimentary parking and breakfast, which is hard to find when looking for a hotel. They also offer 2-bed, 2-bath options which was amazing for my kids and I, especially with the heat & large group. This allowed us a chance to get ready quicker. The staff is always nice and there are minor housekeeping things, but nothing that would make me not stay here again. They definitely should invest in some upgrading of the rooms, as we had a few issues with outlets not working, but overall the stay was amazing and I will definitely be back.

Ron and the staff was fantastic. Had a couple of special request that they accommodated without issue that made our stay even better. Location was perfect. Close enough that a walking and Uber getaway weekend worked out great.

Nice location, within walking distance of several good dining, shopping and cultural options. Friendly service. Be prepared to get your steps in, because it's 3 stories with no elevators.
